Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced dog groomer to join our team in our new modern salon at the base of Whistler mountain. The ideal candidate will be passionate and have patience for working with animals all while providing quality grooming services to dogs (we do not groom cats since our space is too small).

Duties:

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all pets/staff in the grooming area
- Be comfortable with all types of dogs (doodles, matted mountain dogs, rescues, etc.)
- Provide above-and-beyond customer service to pet owners

Requirements:

- 6 months + of previous experience as a dog groomer
- Certification from a grooming school is a plus but not a must
- Strong customer service skills

- Resourceful and quick-thinking
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
- Passion for working with animals and ensuring their comfort
