Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to a variety of dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals (specifically dogs), strong customer service skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling dogs (cats is a nice to have, not required) according to breed standards and client preferences. Ensure the safety and comfort of each pet during the grooming process. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any concerns that may arise. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their questions or requests. Handle pets safely and securely, demonstrating patience and care at all times. Assist in lifting larger pets or those requiring special handling during grooming sessions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dog grooming; willingness to learn is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with pet owners. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or multiple pets. Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming needs is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care and well-being. Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
