Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality grooming services for a variety of pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. You will work closely with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences while delivering exceptional customer service. Your expertise in grooming techniques and animal care will contribute to the overall well-being of the pets in your care. This positon is very flexible, the scheduling will be controlled by the groomer mostly, with some exceptions.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling for various breeds of dogs. Assess each pet's grooming needs and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding services provided. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Handle pets safely and comfortably, using appropriate restraint techniques when necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a friendly manner. Keep accurate records of services performed, including any special instructions or notes regarding the pet's behavior or health. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving larger animals or equipment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pet Groomer for at least 2 years is required. Must have your own grooming equipment, products like shampoo's, cleaning products and other are provided by us. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their pets. Knowledge of various grooming techniques, tools, and products suitable for different breeds. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed while ensuring the safety of both yourself and the animals. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being. Great at working in a team environment.
Salary to be discussed base on your experience and abilities to provide a certain amount of grooming per day.
