Overview

We are a high end dog grooming salon, seeking dedicated pet care professionals for a position as an Experienced Groomer. With at least 2 years experience grooming dogs.

Open Monday to Friday, we are a small salon with a focus on safety, quality, care and compassion, offering both pet styles and breed specific grooming to dogs of all sizes and ages. So experience with all temperaments and senior dogs is an asset.

If you don't mind getting dirty, like pets more than people, we would like to hear from you.

Duties

Primarily responsible for bathing, drying, and prepping your own dogs as well as the full groom Experience in both Breed standard cuts as well as pets cuts Basic Cleaning and Sanitation as well as the scheduled deep cleans Additional tasks include checking in/out clients and basic reception duties.

Experience

Previous experience in pet grooming of minimum 2 years is required. Owning a pet is wonderful but does NOT qualify as experience Ongoing education certificates as well at pet first aid are preferred. (and encouraged) Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and address their inquiries. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds. Ability to lift 50lbs independently

Rate of pay depends on your previous experience and your grooming ability

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 34 per week
