Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for dogs and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Dog Bather, you will play a vital role in assisting our groomer with bathing and drying dogs while delivering excellent customer service to their owners.

Duties

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, and drying. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Communicate with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs. Handle pets safely and gently, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Assist with heavy lifting of larger pets as needed during the grooming process. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any concerns they may have.

Requirements

Experience as a dog bather or in a similar role is preferred. Experience and comfortability with all sizes and breeds of dogs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals. Knowledge of different dog breeds, grooming styles, and techniques is an advantage. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for animals are essential traits for this position.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
