ROLE TITLE: DOCUMENTATION ASSISTANT DEPARTMENT: QUALITY ASSURANCE REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR, DOCUMENATION HOURS: MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8:00 -16:30 Responsible for administrative support relating to documentation control activities for the Steinbach site including preparation, issuance, distribution, reconciliation of controlled documents and Maintenance of APQR summaries for the site. Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Quality Documentation.
  • Support GMP Documentation Control, including the SOP On-Line and SOP Student Programs, including timely issuance /distribution of GMP documentation, and adherence to Key Performance indicators.
  • Support documentation archives as per approved SOPs, Policies and Regulations including timely filing, retrieving and disposal of documentation.
  • Support off-site storage management and document destruction.
  • Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Support CMC regulatory submissions as it relates to documentation.
  • Support Regulatory Inspections and Audits.
  • Support Lean Initiatives and 5 S Principals.
  • Participate in the area of occupational health, safety, and wellness.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science or an equivalent combination of experience/education is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative role is required.
  • Documentation management including experience with electronic quality management systems.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office with a proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of the associated regulations that govern the pharmaceutical industry.
