Arcadis is seeking a talented

Document Controller

are an integral part of our project delivery teams, utilizing their expertise to help the company deliver client success. You will have the opportunity to work on unique and leading-edge projects with a local focus to make a global difference.



In this role, you will follow the established processes and principles of the company's document control procedures, specifically as they pertain to Civil Engineering projects. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, creating document logs that capture project details, meeting minutes, technical specifications, drawings, and other critical information.

Role accountabilities:




Your responsibilities will include archiving, controlling, and retrieving records as needed, ensuring that all documentation is easily accessible and up-to-date. You will scan, image, index, and organise a wide range of documents, systematically classifying, sorting, and categorising them according to the project document control system. Part of your duties will involve controlling the issuance of documents and securing the appropriate approvals before releasing any information. Additionally, you will review the completeness and accuracy of all documents, performing quality checks and ensuring compliance with document control processes. In this position, you will also be tasked with migrating files as required and supporting audit activities to maintain the integrity of project documentation. You will provide regular status reports on documentation, updating stakeholders on the progress and workflow of various document-related tasks. Maintaining Request for Information (RFI) logs and distributing RFI responses as appropriate will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities, helping to ensure clear and efficient communication across the project team.

Qualifications & Experience:




Bachelor's Degree and / or Diploma in Information Management Proven experience as a Document Controller in the Civil Engineering sector, ideally Transportation Involvement with large and complex projects from concept to delivery - P3 experience would be desirable Ability to prioritize daily tasks, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot while handling multiple deadlines Detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy when in contact with complex and sensitive documents Self-directed - the ability to work independently and used to working in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment Stay focused and carry out their tasks in a timely and accurate manner Ability to interact and coordinate with internal and external business partners Strong communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written Preferable to have experience working on construction sites Experienced with EDMS (SharePoint, Aconex, ProCore)

The salary range for this position is $66,000 - $99,000. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
