About this opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, Information Management the Document Analyst will be accountable for facilitating, discovering, strategizing, and prioritizing the execution of annual Process Safety Information Management systems. Key deliverables are to standardize the process will include making documents easily accessible, control who changes documents and provide historic information on the document life cycle and standardize the Information Management practices for consistent execution.

Responsibilities:

Executing IM tactical plans, in alignment with other operational priorities such as Turnarounds, tools available through IT and to ensure end users engagement for culture change.

Execute gap analysis, report, and produce recommendations for gap closure.

Reduced time in searching for PSI information, particularly in time critical situations

Controlling the PSI environment so that information accessed quickly, and is current while maintaining historical records

Assurance checks at LOD1 level \xe2\x80\x93 checks standards, process, and repositories against the corporate expectations through gap assessments and analysis

Document control principles of naming documents in precise wording, appropriate use of metadata, functional and intuitive document hierarchy in repositories

Reduce outstanding review cycles as PPH/MSDP will have automated review cycles for the document

Reduce safety incident by providing access to written safety processes, not tribal knowledge that is prevalent in older facilities

Maintaining IM dashboard to track goals and objects to completion, gap closures

Create an annual plan for aligning Process Safety Information at the site while standardizing the results across the Manufacturing sites

Facilitate and train end user for the use of Level 4 and 3 repositories

Create, validate, maintain, and execute dashboard for tracking PSI initiatives

Ensure Documents meet regulatory requirements

Teach Project Document Control to show the standards of document transmittals, document number creation, sign-out and -in processes, Quality Assurance of project documents, project repository set up

Facilitate and update Concurrent Engineering process to control technical documents revision

Execute the Quality control process for Engineering drawings for accurate information

Facilitate Equipment tag number creating and tracking at sites

Support IM Community of Practices to build relationships, collaborate and share knowledge and best practices; minimum of 4 meetings a year.

Qualifications:

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Diploma in Document Control, Drafting Techniques

Degree in Information Management Systems would be considered an asset

Minimum of 5-6 years minimum in the defined area of work.

Strong understanding of Enterprise Content tools such as OpenText Livelink, PPH, TechDocs, SAP PM and BW modules, Bluebeam, AutoCAD

Advanced SharePoint 365 Administrator capabilities

Basic understanding of Command Prompts as a migration tool

Ability to use Excel Macros, Spotfire, Power BI (Business Intelligence) to create report and tracking of deliverables

Project Management Professional (PMI) or equivalent experience is an asset
