Position Overview



We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)

licensed to practice in

Ontario

to join our modern and patient-focused dental practice. The successful candidate will provide a full range of general dental services to patients of all ages, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, ethical practice and patient centered care.

Key Responsibilities



Clinical Duties



Diagnose oral conditions using medical history, radiographs, diagnostic tools and clinical evaluation. Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and preferences. Perform a wide range of general dental procedures, including but not limited to: Preventive care (e.g., exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments) Restorative treatments (e.g., fillings, crowns, bridges) Extractions and minor oral surgery Endodontic procedures (e.g., root canal therapy) Prosthodontics (e.g., dentures, implant-supported restorations) Administer local anesthesia safely and effectively. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care. Refer patients to specialists when required and ensure proper case documentation and follow-up.

Compliance and Ethics



Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements as set by the

Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO)

and

Ontario Ministry of Health

. Ensure patient confidentiality and informed consent at all times. Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management software.

Qualifications



Required



Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)

or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

Licensed and in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).

Professional Liability Insurance

in accordance with Ontario regulations. Proficiency in general dentistry procedures with a high standard of care. Strong diagnostic, communication and patient education skills. Commitment to continuous learning and clinical advancement.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $145,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
