We have extensive knowledge managing critical environments including data centers, healthcare facilities, commercial facilities, central utility plants and Public Private Partnership projects.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

ACML is actively seeking a Dock Receiver located in Toronto, ON whose main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Understand duties of both, Dock Loaders and Dock Receivers
• Move and handle large and cumbersome freight in a dock environment
• Utilize proper handling techniques to ensure items are protected from damage
• Ensure all inbound and outbound freight is accurately and efficiently received and shipped in accordance with company procedures.
• Escorts Delivery vendors in to and out of the facility. Directs delivery vehicles to appropriate locations.
• Maintains computer-based inventory, control/shipping programs, stock keeping
• Inspects loading dock equipment.
• Performs light duties: sweeping, general cleaning, garbage removal, snow removal, etc.
• Erects safety barricades
• Maintains signage
• Escalates unusual events, occurrences or unsafe conditions to supervisor
• May respond to basic tenant requests and emergencies
• Participates in reviewing of operating standards, policies/procedures as required
• Works in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and all other applicable codes
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

• Our ideal candidate should have OSSGD or equivalent
• You should have Proven computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook)
• You should have the Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written)
• You should have the Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work shift work, including weekends and evenings, and alternate shift start and end times
