Dock Hand
Job Description
The Dockhand position entails:
Ensuring excellence in guest satisfaction.
Location - 5 star fly-in fishing/eco lodge in Northern Manitoba
Good communication skills, strong work ethic, great with customers. Willingness to learn new skills.
DUTIES-
Keep grounds clean and organized. Greet planes and load and unload. Wheeled and floatplanes. Make sure all tires on docks are secure. Assist with any heavy lifting.
Always be on the docks to greet guests when departing and arriving each day.
Garbage removal and burning.
Water the strip with the sprinklers if requested. We will pick a person based on availability.
Make sure ATVs are fueled up on Friday nights and trailers are swept out for luggage. Check oil on the ATVs daily.
Responsible for preparing, delivering and record keeping all shore lunch coolers.
Handle all fuel transfers and fill gas tanks each night.
Check propane for buildings and change as necessary.
Job Type: Summer Term: mid May to late August and/or Fall Term late August to first week of October
