As a Dock Foreman, you will ensure the smooth transfer of goods from their point of origin to their final destination, while earning up to 63 628$ to 78 599$ / year when starting out, with annual salary review.
When you join the team of GAETAN BILODEAU - Operations Supervisor, you'll enjoy a daytime schedule from Monday to Friday from 7h30am to 4.30pm and your day will look like:Supervise, coordinate, and plan material handlers activities
Coordinate positioning, loading, and unloading of trailers
Draft reports and ensure the efficiency and profitability of operations while dealing with cases of loss and/or surplus in real-time
Participate in implementing loading and unloading procedures, compliant with appropriate transportation documents, and ensure that these are respected
Use IT programs designed to carry out work (Truckmate and Connected Dock)
Promote workplace HACCP health and safety standards (according to terminal) and ensure that these are respected
Ensure that dock cleanliness is respected
Train and coach collaborators in your department
Provide an end-of-quarter report to the following managers
Perform all other related tasks

Significant experience in the field of transport;
Ability to drive a sitdown forklift and an electric pallet truck;
Knowledge of the geography of the territory covered by its terminal;
General knowledge of computers and IT systems;
Good communicator both orally and in writing;
Leadership skills;
Good management of priorities;
Ability to solve problems and make decisions;
Customer service orientation;
Fluency in written and spoken English;
Fluency in written and spoken French (interactions with employees, suppliers, clients from Quebec) (asset).
Class 1 driver permit (asset).
