Title: DLPS - Integrated Logistics Support
Location: Ottawa, ON
Introduction
The Integrated Logistics Support Specialist will provide part-time, as-needed support in ensuring effective lifecycle management of complex systems and equipment. This role involves developing, coordinating, and implementing integrated logistics strategies throughout all stages of the system lifecycle -- from design and development through deployment, maintenance, and disposal. The position requires strong experience in lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and design influence, ensuring system reliability, maintainability, and long-term sustainability.
Required Skills & Qualifications.

• Proven experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or lifecycle management within defense or complex technical environments.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning, reliability engineering, and design influence principles.
• Must hold an active Secret-level security clearance (or be eligible to obtain one).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of defense logistics frameworks is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to develop ILS documentation and manage multi-disciplinary logistics activities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans across all project phases.
• Influence system design to incorporate supportability, maintainability, and reliability from concept through deployment.
• Conduct lifecycle cost analysis and recommend optimizations to improve operational readiness and reduce total ownership cost.
• Develop and maintain maintenance plans, including preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless support integration.
• Oversee the development and management of logistics data, technical documentation, and configuration records.
• Provide subject matter expertise on logistics risk management, obsolescence planning, and sustainment strategy.
