Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust web applications utilizing Django and Python, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration with front-end components and third-party services. Collaborate with front-end developers using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular to create intuitive user interfaces. Manage version control using GitHub, SVN, or similar tools to ensure code integrity and facilitate collaborative development. Work closely with IT infrastructure teams to deploy applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, ensuring scalability and security. Write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices in software development and Agile methodologies. Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality standards across all deliverables. Assist in database design and management using MySQL, SQL, or other relational database systems. Stay updated on emerging technologies such as quantum engineering concepts or C++ integrations that could enhance application performance or security.

Requirements

Proven experience in web development with a focus on Python and Django framework. Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration techniques. Familiarity with front-end technologies including JavaScript, React, or Express.js for full-stack development. Experience working with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for application deployment and infrastructure management. Proficiency in version control systems like Git or SVN. Solid understanding of databases including MySQL and SQL query optimization. Knowledge of IT infrastructure components relevant to application hosting and security protocols such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). Experience working within Agile development environments. Additional skills in Java, C#, C++, VBA, .NET frameworks, Linux operating systems, or application development are considered advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
