Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Django and Python, ensuring optimal performance and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices in software development. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes within an Agile framework. Manage version control using tools such as GitHub, SVN, or similar systems. Work with front-end developers to implement responsive interfaces using JavaScript frameworks like React or Express. Deploy applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, leveraging their infrastructure services. Maintain knowledge of IT infrastructure components relevant to application deployment and scaling. Stay updated with emerging technologies including Quantum engineering concepts where applicable.

Skills

Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django framework for web development. Familiarity with front-end technologies including JavaScript, React, and Express for full-stack integration. Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration. Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure for deployment and scaling solutions. Understanding of IT infrastructure components including Linux servers and application hosting environments. Experience with version control systems like GitHub, SVN, or similar tools. Working knowledge of databases such as MySQL and SQL for data management tasks. Ability to work within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently. Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, C, VBA, and .NET is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of security best practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
