Divisional Accountant, Bathurst, New Brunswick
When you join our team as a Divisional Accountant, you will be responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, preparing forecast and budgets and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures.
This role is based on-site at Interfor's Bathurst Division located at 5060 NB-430 Bathurst, NB E2A 6T2.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, analyze, and report accurate financial information, including budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and variance analysis
• Manage full-cycle accounting processes, ensuring proper recording of transactions and adherence to corporate policies and controls
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, capital projects, and operational planning
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate tracking of fixed assets

What You Bring

• Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field

• Stong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with a results-driven mindset

Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in IFRS, financial systems, and related regulations
