The Division Manager is responsible for promoting an environment which supports excellence in care provision and staff empowerment, accomplished through strong leadership capabilities, effective management of human and financial resources and partnerships with internal and external services. The Division Manager ensures medicine inpatient services and Ambulatory Treatment Unit services located at the GB Cross are consistent with established policies and best practices. Specific responsibilities include leading an interdisciplinary team, building strong relationships with physician leads, measuring and monitoring care provision; staff selection, development, motivation and performance appraisal; and management of change in a dynamic environment.The Division Manager works within the NL Health Services Leadership Framework with accountabilities to lead self, engage others, achieve results, develop coalitions and implement systems transformations within the assigned areas of responsibility. Education
A Baccalaureate Degree in a health-related discipline is required.
A Master\'s degree in the applicable area is preferred.Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) in an adult acute care clinical setting is required.
