Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, including general contractors, architects, and project managers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial construction and renovation market.
Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and product presentations tailored to customer needs.
Collaborate with the estimating, project management, and operations teams to ensure accurate project pricing, scheduling, and execution.
Provide technical support and product expertise to customers throughout the sales process.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of manufacturers, product lines, and industry standards (such as AHC, DHI, and code compliance).
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client communications in CRM software.
Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and product training sessions as required.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in
commercial doors, frames, and hardware
sales or a closely related industry.
Strong understanding of Division 8 and 10 specifications, door hardware schedules, and product compatibility.
Proven track record of achieving sales goals and developing new business.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Preferred Qualifications
DHI certification (AHC, EHC, or CDC) is an asset.
Experience reading blueprints and interpreting architectural drawings.
Knowledge of access control and electronic hardware integration.
