Themes and Variations Inc. is looking for a part-time rep to join our district marketing team for our flagship product, MusicplayOnline. MusicplayOnline is a subscription based sequential music curriculum website, designed for elementary schools. We provide structured, ready-to-use lesson plans for teachers. Each weekly lesson introduces new musical concepts, reinforces prior learning, and includes seasonal and holiday repertoire. All the planning is done for the teacher!
The primary focus for this position would be to develop and execute outreach strategies for the team to reach new school districts as potential clients. It would also include facilitating the sale of MusicplayOnline district subscriptions, activating those accounts once the sale has completed, and maintaining a positive customer service relationship with the district.

What You'll Do
Conduct online research to identify and verify potential customers.
Generate quotes for new and existing district subscribers
Facilitate account activation for successful sales
Ensure data accuracy and completeness to support effective campaign performance.
Participate in regular check-ins to review progress, share findings, and receive support.
Leverage AI tools to assist in capturing high quality contact data

Successful part-time interns have the potential to transition into full-time positions with our district and content teams.

$20/hour - paid bi-weekly
Applicant Requirements
To be eligible to participate in the FIRST Jobs TechBOOST Program:
-You must be a current student or recent graduate (within the past 12 months) from an accredited Alberta post-secondary institution
-You must have put in your best efforts to set up your LinkedIn Profile in order to complete the application form (and be seen as of interest to employers)
-You must be an Alberta resident
-You must be over the age of 18
Applicants NOT eligible for funding:
-Individuals who have previous working relationships with the Tech Company that they are applying to
