About This Opportunity The District Sales Manager, Generalist is responsibilities for all sales priorities and initiatives within their territory for both Large and Small Format customers. The District Sales Manager is also responsible for the management, coaching, and support of the Sales Development Managers and Sales Execution Leads within their territory. Responsibilities
Responsible for the execution of all sales priorities and initiatives for both Large and Small format customers in their territory
Drive the execution of all sales priorities and initiatives for the assigned customer channels within the territory.
Manage budgets and demonstrate an understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L).
Lead, coach, and support Sales Development Managers within the territory. Ensure execution of all channel, package, and pricing plans within territory.
Be able to support and represent sales priorities and initiatives within the sales territory to various internal and external visiting stakeholders or delegates.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the sales organization.
Develop and nurture relationships with key customers within the Kingston region, serving as the connection point between sales area leadership and operations.
Regularly interact with store-level and local chain leaders, ensuring adherence to calendar marketing agreements.
Provide feedback on marketplace conditions, including competition, channel plans, pricing, and architecture.
Represent the company in local government and community forums when necessary.
Post-Secondary education, preferably in business related field
Minimum 2-5 years progressive Sales experience
Strong business acumen, including an understanding of budgets and operating costs
Customer focused with proven relationship building strengths and solid experience developing workforce plans based on business goals
Comfort and ability to thrive in a high-change, fasted paced environment
Proven collaboration skills with the ability to gain consensus through personal influence
Demonstrated ability to invite diverse perspectives, promote an inclusive work environment and support workforce diversity
Accomplished team-builder, skilled at inspiring, motivating and developing people
Ability to travel day trips to support Market Units up to 50% of the time
