Overview:District Sales Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Independent Channels -TELUS is looking for a self-starter with exceptional relationship building and sales skills to join the TELUS Team. As a District Sales Manager (hybrid remote), with a territory encompassing Central Alberta, Red Deer and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the day-to-day program execution within Central Alberta, Red Deer and the surrounding areas at a variety of national retailers (Walmart, Best Buy, Apple, etc.) and independent TELUS/Koodo dealers. You must be willing to travel, with your own vehicle, to these locations. This includes driving overall sales across all brands within the TELUS family (TELUS, Koodo, Koodo Prepaid, mobility and home services) while ensuring partners are provided with world class support and service. You will be supported by the Regional Manager and be accountable to execute a comprehensive district plan while cultivating strong customer relationships.What we offer:

Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with partners through exceptional responsiveness and quality training
• Educate channel partners on the TELUS and Koodo value propositions, ensuring top of mind awareness of key products and services
• Leverage data to devise overall district strategy and action plans to efficiently service assigned partner locations, ultimately leading to the achievement of sales targets
• Anticipate and respond to challenges encountered by channel partners; appropriately escalate unresolved issues to cross functional partners
• Represent the TELUS family of brands in the district and communities served; provide market specific guidance to internal stakeholders, including gathering and reporting on competitive information

• Ability to prioritize: each day brings with it a new set of priorities. We are looking for someone who can regularly prioritize and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• The ability to travel and provide own transportation.
• Located in, or willing to relocate or regularly commute to, Central Alberta, Red Deer and surrounding areas.
• Comfortable with a flexible and mobile work style:

• Working from a home-based office
• Flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends when required

Job Qualifications:

• Sales experience including business development, relationship management, achieving sales targets, and selling products through independent channels to the end consumer (retail and/or dealer)
• College or university degree in Business or related discipline is an asset
