FANUC America Corporation provides the most complete range of industry-leading robotics, CNC and motion control systems, and ROBODRILL machining centers. Our innovative technologies and proven expertise help manufacturers in the Americas to be more efficient, reliable and profitable. We are currently searching for a dynamic, District Manager who will work in sales account management, direct sales coverage, and distribution channel management. Selling involves all application areas and robotic products that FANUC provides.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Work emphasis on growth of General Industry sales and overall market development in the following four (4) areas:
  • Increase General Industry unit bookings through selected integrators
  • Increase General Industry unit bookings through targeted end-users
  • Increase unit bookings through Auto Component accounts
  • Targeted RoboDrill and CNC market development support
  • Seek and close product/systems business in specified territory
  • Develop and maintain channels of selling/integration within district
  • Manage all sales and commercial activities within specified accounts
  • Develop and implement strategic selling plans for accounts
  • Organize, schedule, and prepare product/system presentations, demonstrations, customer visits
  • Proposal and quote development, and support of order administration activities
  • Manage company assets through accurate monthly forecasts, pipeline orders, and informational support in collections
  • Act as main interface with customers and assist in such areas as delivery scheduling; aftermarket service and spare parts quotes, technical product information
  • Ensure that all outlets for FANUC/FCL distribution are adequately trained and have direct support when needed
Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business related field, or with relevant experience
  • A minimum of 3 years selling experience, preferably in robotics and/or automation
  • Working knowledge of robotic automation and industry
  • Management skills to handle diverse account base
  • Technical competency in automation applications from actual plant experience or formal education
  • Previous proven selling and negotiating skills
