Job Description

The

District Loss Prevention Manager

is responsible for overseeing the loss prevention program within the Newfoundland locations, monitoring the security system to ensure they are operational, conducting surveillance, investigating theft and fraud, and ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. The manager also plays a key role in training and coordinating the loss prevention team, liaising with law enforcement, and collaborating with KBS management to raise awareness about issues related to loss prevention. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and investigative skills to prevent and address loss events effectively



Review and maintain the store's security system Surveillance of all areas including perimeter checks Ensure cycle counts are completed Present tips at team meetings and associate orientation Assist in investigations with corporate security Travel to other store locations as required for investigations

Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and a sense of urgency Ability to communicate with people of various ages and backgrounds such as summer students, customers, and law enforcement Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Experience conducting investigations is preferred Experience with loss prevention or policing is required Class 5 Driver's License is required Experience conducting surveillance is preferred Experience in inventory control is an asset Knowledge of building supplies is an asset * Ability to regularly travel as required in Newfoundland
