Loblaw is seeking a dynamic and experienced District Asset Protection Manager to build strong partnerships and implement best practices to mitigate shrink within our store model. The successful candidate will foster positive relationships with franchisees within our Pharmaprix banner as well as corporate locations (Maxi and Club entrepot) , identify shrink opportunities, and provide training and support to enhance loss prevention awareness.
Accountabilities:
Foster and maintain a positive business relationship with all stores, their respective employees, and all store support teams.
Identify shrink opportunities by performing SPOT (Shrink Prevention Operational Tool) compliance audits and provide suggestions, based on industry best practices, to Franchisees and their respective staff on how to improve identified shrink opportunities
Recommend and support stores through training and store visits, designed to create Asset Protection awareness.
Ensure that store's asset protection equipment such as CCTV, alarms, safes, and other physical security controls are in good working order and are being utilized effectively.
Lead and bring timely resolution on all internal integrity investigations brought forth.
Act as a liaison with local law enforcement.
Support the respective stores during all critical incidents.
Role Requirements:
Ability to influence and gain support for new ideas and initiatives with respective stores.
Excellent interpersonal skills and sense of urgency.
Strong verbal and written communication, able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management.
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task.
Results-oriented individual who contributes to end result through partnership, knowledge, skill, and strong work ethic.
Ability to deal with confidential issues and possess strong professional judgment.
Self-motivated / team player.
Possess strong research, analytical, and deductive reasoning skills.
Travel required within districts surrounding Montreal, Laval and south shore regions.
BSP Permit required
Interview techniques certification and health & safety training are assets.
Bilingualism is an asset, but fluency in French is required.
3-5 years of progressive loss prevention/retail operations experience.
