The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate and arrange unilateral or multilateral distribution of program, sports and news content to a varied client base
• Liaise with administration and third-party program suppliers to ensure consistent and seamless acquisition and delivery of live or pre-recorded material via satellite, fibre, IP or Bell Media\xe2\x80\x99s proprietary Video Express systems
• Thorough understanding of booking protocols, routing, technical set up, alignment and/or tuning of satellite, fibre, microwave and occasional-use signals for all Bell Media broadcast clients
• Provide comprehensive technical support which could include implementing new signal recovery paths to ensure consistent customer service to the clients
• Provide technical support and service recovery to Bell Media Specialty Services cable affiliates using the Arris Digicipher II BNC Encryption Database System
• Participate in technical demonstrations and continual learning programs. Regularly attend and contribute to organized team scrums

Qualifications:

• Applicant must have considerable familiarity with fibre, satellite and microwave distribution systems and service providers including frame rate conversion, frame synchronizers and router configurations
• Thorough understanding of international and domestic booking processes, signal distribution and routing of audio and video signals
• Thorough understanding of various UHD, HD transmission and reception/decoding methodologies and their respected formats include both broadcast audio and video technical specifications
• Ability to work as a team player under the extreme pressure of a fast paced control room environment while meeting and completing daily deadlines
• Meticulous attention to detail, well organized and excellent problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision in a fast paced television environment while meeting and completing hourly deadlines
• A minimum of five years broadcast industry related experience
