Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivery/Pick up of goods and materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service.

Duties

Operate vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all local and federal regulations regarding transportation. Assist in the operation as needed for loading and unloading tasks in warehouse. Responsible for truck basic maintenance, and cleaning/washing of vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience 3 years in commercial driving is required. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle unexpected situations on the road. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as necessary during loading/unloading activities. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
