Responsibilities for Distribution Centre Security Guard

Conduct regular checkpoint patrols and gate control. Manage trailer/vehicle entry, verifying correct destination addresses. Monitor and respond to alarms; document and report findings. Prepare daily and weekly reports; monitor and report on cameras. Control and monitor emergency exit gates. Administer and track access cards, ensuring accurate reporting. Verify staff and contractor access, including clearance checks and reporting. Perform environmental inspections (e.g., water leaks, airflow, unusual noises) and escalate issues. Track turnstile use for warehouse entry/exit; ensure hi-vis vest compliance. Document and report incidents promptly.

Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Manitoba security license First aid certification an asset Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone & computer skills Steel toe boots required
