Summary of Job Duties:
A distribution associate works in a warehouse environment to support the efficient movement of goods by performing tasks such as unloading shipments, picking and packing orders, and loading trucks for delivery.
Responsibilities:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.
Order Fulfillment: Locate and pick items for orders, pack them securely, and prepare them for shipment by ensuring all associated documentation completed correctly
Safety and Housekeeping: Adhere to all standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Shipping and Processing: Unload incoming goods, verify them against packing slips, sort products, and place them in their designated locations
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple orders, maintain a tidy workspace, and organize inventory efficiently
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work well in a team are crucial for success
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
6 months of manufacturing experience
Forklift certification or able to operate a forklift
Preferred Qualifications:
Able to lift 50+ pounds
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
