Job Description

Title: Dispensing and Blending Overall Responsibilities: The Dispenser\xe2\x80\x99s key role is to ensure products are manufactured according to Natural and Non-prescription Health Product (NNHPD) regulations and to ensure quality compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Dispenser must accurately follow instructions which are provided prior to all blends including paperwork to record all required information. The Dispenser weighs, measures and records all the required ingredients for blending specifications. Dispenser must stay focused during the blend to prevent mistakes. It starts the process of powder to manufacture the product which goes through the production process and to customers. Qualifications/ Behavioural Requirements: Knowledge and understanding of GMP and Health Canada Regulations for natural health products and food an asset Math skills are essential to accurate and efficient dispensing. Dispenser must accurately follow blending instructions which are provided prior to all blends. 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work with others and independently Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret batch sheets, work instructions, etc. Quick learner May be required to lift 22.5Kg / 50 pounds+ May be required to stand for long periods. Ability to handle strict deadlines and work under pressure Duties and Responsibilities: Pick and verify all raw materials for the blend Properly label and clean finished product containers (ensure proper caps/fittings and that lids are tightly sealed Strive to maintain a spill free facility Accurate and efficient dispensing. Attest to all his/her decisions by signing and dating all reports. Maintain a safe and clean work area Attend SOP and GMP training. Cleaning and sanitizing equipment. Don appropriate and mandated uniform Work with the Scheduler and Production Supervisor to coordinate daily blends Job Type: Full-time Salary: From $20.00 per hour Benefits:
