We have an immediate opening for a

Dispatcher

in Toronto ON.

Dispatch Duties:

The Dispatcher will schedule and coordinate multiple residential and commercial waste collection, coordinates drivers according to customer requests. The Dispatcher will monitor drivers' progress to ensure daily pick-ups are completed, and resolves issues that impede progress. A successful dispatcher has solid knowledge of surrounding geographical area, demonstrates an eagerness to learn the waste industry.

Additional tasks:

Maintain appropriate files and documentation, in accordance with company policy and internal controls.

Requirements:

1-2 years of dispatch experience High-volume call center or inbound calling experience Pleasant demeanor over the phone and emails Excellent time management and prioritization skills Ability to work under pressure Strong written and oral communication skills Critical and logical thinking skills
Schedule:

Monday to Saturday
Experience:

dispatching: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
