Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries related to freight, shipping, and logistics while ensuring a seamless experience throughout their interactions with our company.

Duties



Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone systems and email, ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues. Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and SyteLine to manage orders and track shipments effectively. Analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction. Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records in AS400 and other relevant systems. Collaborate with 3PL partners to coordinate shipping and receiving processes efficiently. Assist in troubleshooting issues related to freight logistics and provide timely updates to customers. Maintain a professional demeanor while managing multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Experience



Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with freight operations, shipping, and receiving processes is an advantage. Proficiency in using phone systems and data entry software; experience with SyteLine, AS400, or Transportation Management Systems is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and provide effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and team members. Ability to type efficiently while managing customer interactions.
