Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and efficient handling of customer inquiries related to transportation management, freight, and supply chain operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with various systems to support shipping, receiving, and data entry functions. The Customer Service Representative will play a vital role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities



Manage customer inquiries via multi-line phone systems and email, providing professional and courteous assistance. Utilize transportation management systems such as SyteLine and AS400 to process orders, shipments, and tracking information accurately. Coordinate shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation. Enter data related to freight, shipments, and inventory into relevant systems with high accuracy and efficiency. Analyze supply chain data to identify potential issues or delays and communicate solutions proactively. Collaborate with 3PL providers to facilitate freight movement and resolve any logistical challenges. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and service requests for reporting purposes. Support the analysis of shipping & freight data to improve operational workflows and customer experience. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills when interacting with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications



Proven experience in customer service within logistics, supply chain, or freight industries preferred. Familiarity with transportation management systems such as SyteLine, AS400, or similar platforms. Strong data entry skills with high accuracy; proficient in typing and using multi-line phone systems. Good analysis skills to interpret logistics data and identify operational improvements. Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes, freight management, and supply chain fundamentals. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing; ability to handle phone interactions professionally. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
