Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Dispatcher & Customer Service Coordinator

to manage refrigerated (reefer) freight operations. This role is responsible for load booking, route planning, dispatching drivers, monitoring temperature-controlled shipments, and providing excellent customer service to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Load Booking, Route Planning, Dispatch and coordinate drivers and reefer equipment for daily loads Monitor shipment progress, temperature settings, and delivery timelines Communicate load details, changes, and expectations with drivers Serve as the primary contact for customers, providing shipment updates and resolving issues Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments Respond to delays, breakdowns, or service disruptions with effective solutions Maintain accurate records in the Transportation Management System (TMS) Process bills of lading, PODs, and temperature logs Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company procedures

Qualifications

Experience in load booking, route planning, dispatching or customer service within

reefer or temperature-controlled freight

Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment Proficiency with dispatch systems and logistics software Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail Knowledge of U.S./Canada cross-border freight is an asset
