TalentWorld is recruiting a Dispatcher in Inkster Industrial Park Winnipeg, Manitoba for one of our clients.

Responsibilities
Receive incoming calls, emails, or messages from customers, clients, or field personnel.
Create schedules for drivers or other field personnel.
Ensure efficient use of resources by optimizing routes and assignments.
Relay information and instructions to field personnel, drivers, or other team members.
Provide updates to customers or clients regarding the status of their requests or deliveries.
Track the progress of tasks and assignments to ensure timely completion.
Respond to emergency calls and requests, assessing the situation and dispatching appropriate emergency services if necessary.
Make quick decisions to resolve problems and minimize disruptions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications, assignments, and activities.
Use specialized software to document details and create a historical record.
Interact with customers to provide information, updates, and assistance.
Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Collaborate with other stakeholders, supervisors, and team members to coordinate activities and share information.
Adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and safety guidelines.
Provide feedback to management on operational challenges and potential improvements.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in dispatching.
Strong familiarity with scheduling drivers and optimizing routes in Manitoba.
Exceptional business writing skills for clear and effective communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Detail-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges proactively.
Able to pass background checks
Starts on October 2023

Employment Details
Salary: $19.00 hourly
Benefits: 40 hours guarantee, 6 months contract
Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
Other: Temporary, possibility of extension
