As we expand our operations, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Dispatcher to join our same-day delivery team. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products to customers, maintaining our reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a tech-savvy Dispatcher with experience in logistics or similar fields. The ideal candidate is adept at managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for manual order taking, dispatching, route planning, and customer interaction, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure delivery times are met within the target times Utilize advanced dispatch software, menu software and communication tools to manage delivery operations. Utilize phone systems to accept and manually input orders over the phone and ensure accurate data entry. Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries, accepting payments and resolving issues via phone, chat, or email. Optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. Maintain clear and constant communication between the store, delivery drivers, and customers. Resolve dispatch-related issues swiftly to minimize delays and disruptions. Keep detailed records of dispatch activities, customer feedback, and delivery outcomes. Review delivery orders for accuracy and to mitigate fraudulent orders Review delivery order details for special notes, instructions or requirements.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a dispatcher in logistics, delivery services, or a related field. Strong technological acumen and ability to quickly adapt to new systems. Excellent problem solving skills and ability to rationalize decisions in regards to dispatching routes to drivers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure, in a fast paced environment and ability to adapt to changing circumstances. High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics is a plus.
