A dispatcher at Double Barrel Industries is a pivotal role based in Salmon Arm that ensures efficient coordination of transportation operations. Responsibilities

Coordinate transportation schedules and dispatch drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Manage transportation management systems to optimize routes and reduce costs. Communicate effectively with drivers and clients regarding delivery status and any issues that arise. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including shipping and receiving documentation. Analyze data related to freight operations to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations. Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy. Support the logistics team with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in transportation management or dispatching roles. Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to analyze data effectively to inform decision-making. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
