This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in transportation management systems to optimize supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring efficient routing and scheduling of shipments. Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, phone systems to provide updates on shipment status. Analyze shipping data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency within the supply chain. Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of freight movements, including documentation for shipping and receiving processes. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly while demonstrating professional phone etiquette.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dispatching or logistics coordination is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Proficient in typing and data entry with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with team members and clients. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently. Knowledge of freight operations, shipping regulations, and best practices is an advantage.
