Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will coordinate transportation activities, manage freight schedules, and ensure efficient communication across various departments. This role is critical in maintaining smooth operations within our supply chains. The Dispatcher will optimize routing and delivery schedules, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers and equipment to meet daily transportation requirements.
Monitor route performance, delivery timelines, and shipment status, resolving issues proactively.
Communicate regularly with drivers, carriers, and distribution centers to ensure smooth operations.
Update transportation management systems with accurate load and route information.
Troubleshoot delays, equipment issues, or exceptions to minimize service impacts.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the transportation network
