Job Summary
Jade Transport Ltd. is a leader in the trucking industry and is looking to expand its team. If you have seen our trucks on the highway, you know we take pride in the work we do. We are looking for a dispatcher to join our team and help keep the trucks rolling.
Responsibilities and Duties
Dispatch drivers, equipment, and loads efficiently to meet schedules and maximize utilization. Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal departments. Track load progress, manage hours of service, and maintain accurate dispatch records. Process paperwork, bills of lading, and trip documentation. Assist with data entry and general office tasks.
Hours of work: As per scheduled shift. Dispatch operates Monday through Friday; 7:00 to 19:00, subject to change as per department manager. Weekends on a rotational basis and on-call duties.
Qualifications and Skills
1-2 years of trucking or logistics experience preferred High school diploma Post secondary education preferred Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to learn other trucking software and satellite systems (Axon ETA and Peoplenet) Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
