Job Description



Prime group of Companies is seeking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher at Prime group of Companies, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of our logistics operations. You will also be tasked with ensuring that our drivers and vehicles are operating at optimal levels, delivering all packages within the expected time frame, and handling all administrative duties pertaining to the dispatch department.
Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate all transportation needs of the company.
  • Oversee the flow of goods and materials on trucks, delivery vehicles and other modes of transportation.
  • Respond to incoming calls, emails and messages from drivers in the field.
  • Provide accurate and timely delivery estimates to customers or clients.
  • Track and monitor vehicles and drivers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Maintain records of all dispatched and delivered goods, as well as all billing and payment information.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of vehicles as needed.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in dispatching, transportation or logistics management preferred.
  • Experience working with logistics software programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Must be available to work on-call, weekends and holidays.
