We are a busy trucking and logistics company operating across the Greater Toronto Area and U.S. cross-border routes. Our dispatch team plays a key role in coordinating drivers, ensuring timely service, and maintaining clear communication with customers and internal staff. We are currently looking for reliable Dispatch Help to join our operations team.
Duties
Answer incoming calls, emails, and messages from drivers and customers
Relay information clearly and accurately between drivers, customers, and operations staff
Assist dispatchers with scheduling, load assignments, and trip updates
Record trip details, delays, and driver status into the system
Handle customer service inquiries in a professional manner
Support drivers after hours if needed with clear communication and problem-solving
Skills
Strong oral and written communication skills (English)
Professional phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple calls at once
Basic computer skills (email, Excel, dispatch systems an asset)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized
Previous experience in trucking/logistics dispatch is an asset, but willing to train the right candidate
Availability for evening, weekend, or split shifts may be required
