Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated dishwasher and Sanitation Worker to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across our day care centre. The ideal candidate will ensure all areas are sanitized, safe, and compliant with health regulations. This role is vital in supporting a clean and welcoming atmosphere for both children and staff contributing to overall operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas Maintain cleanliness of food handling stations, equipment, and utensils Follow proper food handling procedures during cleaning processes to prevent contamination Assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with safety guidelines Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and used efficiently Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to promote a safe working environment. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed

Qualifications

Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is an asset Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to kitchens or hospitality settings Experience with food handling, preparation, or cooking is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety protocols Excellent organizational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a team
