Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the kitchen's efficiency and cleanliness while preparing delicious meals for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure that all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Support banquet and catering operations by assisting with food setup and service. Buss tables and assist with serving during peak hours to enhance guest experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and maintain quality standards. Participate in regular cleaning schedules to uphold sanitation standards throughout the kitchen area.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment is essential. Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus. Strong understanding of food handling safety practices is required. A background in hospitality or culinary arts will be beneficial for this role. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.02-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
