We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our culinary operations run smoothly, providing both food preparation and cleaning support. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized after use.
Help with inventory management by checking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
Follow food safety guidelines for food handling and storage to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Support other kitchen staff as needed to maintain an efficient workflow.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
