We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. Duties
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report shortages as needed.
Support serving staff during meal times by assisting with plating and presentation of dishes.
Skills
Previous restaurant or hotel experience preferred, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations.
Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Knowledge of food handling safety practices to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong cleaning skills to maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen area.
