Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwaher/Kitchen Helper to join our team. The Dishwasher/ Kitchen Helper will assist maintaining a clean kitchen environment. This role is essential in supporting the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Duties:
- Washing dishes, pots, kitchen utensils, operating a dishwasher machine, assisting FOH servers with carrying dirty dishes to the dishwashing area during busy lunch and dinner services.
- Support cooks and chefs during meal service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Handle basic cooking tasks under supervision.
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food handling procedures
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen staff
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
