We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality. The Kitchen Helper will play a vital part in food preparation, cleaning, and assisting with daily kitchen tasks to ensure smooth restaurant or hotel operations.

Duties

Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures Support the culinary team with ingredient organization and storage Assist with serving food to guests or customers as needed Ensure all kitchen tools and supplies are properly stored and maintained Help with inventory management and restocking supplies Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic work environment

Skills

Experience in food handling, food preparation, or cooking is preferred Knowledge of cleaning procedures within a restaurant or hotel setting Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or hotel operations is a plus Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and kitchen operations
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 18 per week
