We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring food safety standards are met and that the kitchen operates smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food service, and teamwork, with experience in cleaning, food preparation, or restaurant settings preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation and food handling tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Support with dishwashing and waste disposal to ensure a tidy workspace Help with organizing ingredients and supplies for efficient kitchen operations Assist in setting up serving areas and assisting with food service as needed Follow safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Support the team during busy meal periods to ensure timely service
Requirements
Friendly and enthusiastic attitude Works well in a fast paced environment Able to take feedback well Punctual and efficient SIN is required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
