Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while supporting kitchen staff with cleaning and basic food preparation tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area Perform general kitchen cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out garbage Organize and properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed Support cooks and kitchen team members during busy service periods Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations Assist with additional back-of-house duties as required
Qualifications
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an asset but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness Willingness to help and work as part of a team
