Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. This role is perfect for individuals interested in gaining experience in food service, hospitality, and kitchen operations. Prior restaurant or hotel experience is a plus but not required. A strong focus on cleanliness, food handling, and teamwork is essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste Support food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met Help with organizing ingredients and supplies for efficient kitchen workflow Assist in serving food to guests or customers as needed Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment Support the team during busy hours by performing various tasks as assigned

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory Familiarity with cleaning protocols and food handling procedures is advantageous Experience with food preparation, cooking, or serving roles will be beneficial Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions accurately Basic knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
